Just to keep myself active between comic book pages. I'm loving this run of Tim Burton Batman villains. I guess the Schumacher versions are next. Wait, no, I forgot Max Shreck!
So, being out of town for a few days I realized I needed to warm-up before getting back to comic book form. Here is what I came up with. I really like how stylized the work is becoming.
I was asked by the fine folks at Saskatoon's Community Radio Station, CFCR 90.5 fm, to design a logo for their upcoming funding drive. The logo appears on t-shirts, magnets, and the CFCR website here:
Jeepers, am I ever behind on posting. I'm currently working on a comic book for Image Comics, and losing track of the hours of the day/week/month. This was a quick job I did for FFWD. And the article written by Dr. Drew Anderson (I'm not sure of his medical credentials):
Okay, so this update has been long overdue. I'm currently working on a couple different comic books, which are bogarting my time. Anyway. This is a cover I did last week for FFWD featuring UK Punk Rockers, Buzzcocks. I'm really happy with how this came out.
I met Mike Allred at the 2009 Calgary Comic Expo. In 2010, just after seeing him (and his lovely and talented wife, Laura) at the Seattle Comic Con, he asked me to contribute a Madman and Atomics Pin-up to a giant size special that is due to be released (tentatively) in December. This work was a real pleasure to do, as Mike and Laura have been huge influences on me since I first started this illustration trek.
