Intrepids #6 teaser...

Intrepids #6 is rapidly coming to a close (I'm a tad behind after my daughter was born). But I thought to wet everyone's appetite a series of small teasers were in order. First up, well, almost everyone Kurtis and I talked to wanted more Cyber-Bear -- who were we to refuse.

Week #7! I never understood why Bludd has so many different visual elements — eye patch, mustache, helmet, armour, robotic armour. I parred him down considerably. Not sure the colour is working, but I like the drawing!

Intrepids #5!

Alright, so after a series of Three Stooges-style blunders issue #5 finally made it to the printer and is due to arrive next week! Hurray! This is leading to our final issue of the mini-series which, I humbly think, is going to blow everyone's socks off. Right off! If you haven't been picking up the series, you're going to kick yourself after issue 6 hits stands. Like, knock yourself to the ground and kick yourself.

I have always adored the Wrecking Crew (and their costume designs), so this redesign was a real treat! I tried to make PD a little more ‘construction crew’, rather than ‘dude in tights’.

Kang the Conqueror! Man, this was a tough redesign -- because the original was so dang good! One of my all-time fave Kirby characters. I decided to look to the Rama-Tut era Kang. I'm pretty happy with this one!
