I'm looking forward to more Billy Russo in S2 of Netflix Punisher.

Netflix Punisher...

As Jon Bernthal as I dared go.

Netflix Daredevil Character Designs...

I really dug Netflix Daredevil.

Silver Surfer (w/ FF) commission...

As part of an art swap with Mike Allred.  Originally just supposed to be the Surfer, couldn't help myself, had to take a pass at Mike's terrific FF designs!  Oh She-Hulk.  *swoon*

THOR (w/MR HYDE) Con sketch...

A commission of Thor from a local convention this past weekend.  Thanks, Jason!

Doctor Doom in Colour...

Playing around with an old commission for 30 minutes before calling it a night.

Calgary Expo: DOCTOR DOOM!

My favourite sketch of the Expo.  I'm really happy with his face!  Thanks Mike!

Calgary Expo: Thing & Human Torch...

This was a fun one.  I've always preferred the design of Ben in the first few issues of FF -- looks more like a scabby, burn victim.  Gross.  Thanks, Mike!

Calgary Expo: Captain Marvel vs Skrulls...

First commission of the con for Rob Swan.  Thanks Rob!

Nick Fury vs Baron Strucker (pencils)...

This image has been sitting on my desk for, oh, 6 months.  I've been meaning to ink it -- hopefully posting the pencils will force my hand.

Sgt Fury and His Howling Commandos...

And the Nazi month continues. Geez.

Make sure to check out all the other terrific covers at:

Captain America & Bucky vs Red Skull and ?

Apparently, folks really dig the way I draw WW2 era villains — I’ll take it as a compliment, though I hope everyone doesn’t get weirded-out by the number of Nazis in my posts this month.

A Cap commission for Mr. Curt Pires during Calgary’s Red & White Show (fantastic fun, great crowd today).

Thanks Curt! Hope to get a scan of this some day (probably my fav con commission to date)

ComicsAlliance.com Article...

Every once in a while, something wonderful like this happens and it fills me with a TON of creative energy! Super special thanks to Chris Sims for the attention!

Piledriver Redesign from Supervillainshowdown.tumblr.com

I have always adored the Wrecking Crew (and their costume designs), so this redesign was a real treat! I tried to make PD a little more ‘construction crew’, rather than ‘dude in tights’.

Kang Redesign from Supervillainshowdown.tumblr.com

Kang the Conqueror! Man, this was a tough redesign -- because the original was so dang good! One of my all-time fave Kirby characters. I decided to look to the Rama-Tut era Kang. I'm pretty happy with this one!

MODODK (w/ AIM) vs Arnim Zola

A terrifically fun commission that I ended up going overboard on. I had a real blast drawing both characters!

Lady Loki...

I, honestly, think Loki works better as a female. There is something more imposing, more threatening and Loki in female form. Just my two cents. This is the first in an ongoing of illustrations Riley Rossmo and I will be doing (look for a new blog soon!).

Doctor Strange...

Almost caught up on my commissions. Only a couple more to go! Stay tuned for a MODOK piece in the next week. Ow, off the hook. I'm just saying, working on a Doctor Strange comic would be a total dream. Imagine getting to draw those magical Ditko-ish worlds. Man, would that be a blast!

Marvel Commission Red Skull vs Cap!

I'm so excited for the Cap movie. Solid cast, WW2, and a terrific director!

Marvel Commission Rocket Raccoon!

I don't know the first thing about these characters -- but they were a blast to draw.
