At the Toronto Fan Expo this past weekend. Did a few quick sketches in my sketchbook (Riley Rossmo has since told me that all my sketchbook's are actually finished art...I think he's full of baloney).
This issue was a real leap for me artistically (after the first 3 pages). I finally started following my instincts as opposed to trying to fit a 'mold' of my own making. This has drastically improved the quality of the pages on my current project at Oni Press too -- which makes me even more excited to be working on it!
Well, this is it! The finale! I'm pretty proud of this issue (after about page 4, artistically!). We would super appreciate your support with this final chapter of our cyber-enhanced kids. The trade is hitting shelves in December, keep your eyes peeled for promos. Thanks to all who supported this book, it has been a total trip!
Every once in a while, something wonderful like this happens and it fills me with a TON of creative energy! Super special thanks to Chris Sims for the attention!
Watched the DK again while working-out over the past week (took 3 workouts, always forget how long the movie is). Had an overwhelming urge to draw the cast
Lady Serpentor. Okay, yes, the whole making a male character into a female is totally overdone -- I mostly just wanted to draw a sexy gal in a Cobra HISS.
