NYCC: ONI PRESS announces DOWN! SET! FIGHT!...

My latest book, with publisher ONI PRESS, was announced this weekend at the New York Comic Con!  It's a terrific read, written by the almost equally terrific Chris Sims and Chad Bowers.  Below the Press Release as well as some links (including EIC James Lucas Jones vision for the NEW ONIPRESS.COM -- I'm really excited to be part of this):

Calgary Expo: Star Trek TNG Print

Hey all, just finished a print I plan to have for all you fine Star Trek fans at the Calgary Expo this weekend.  I will only have a limited supply on hand, first come first serve and all that.

Calgary Comic Expo 2012...

Yessir/ma'am!  I will be at the Calgary Comic Expo this year.  My beautiful baby girl was born the weekend of the Expo last year, so it's been a couple years since I have seen many of my fellow Calgarians.  I'll be sitting at table M09.  I'll have original art (pages, SuperVillain Showdown, pin-ups), sketchbooks, comics and prints at the table (more details this week).

TOYMAN: Latest SuperVillain Showdown!

For those unaware, Toyman is my favourite Superman villain.  I really like the toy angle -- such an unexpected adversary.

I'm really happy with the colours on this one.

SuperVillain Showdown: SINESTRO (and Green Lantern)

Took a brief break from pages to put together phase one of Dennis Culver's and my Legion of Doom for SuperVillain Showdown.  Been a good long while since I drew a superhero.

Li'l Depressed Boy...

This one was a long time coming.  Sina Grace and I had been wanting a pin-up from one another for our respective Image books since meeting last year at ECCC.  His terrific version appeared in the Intrepids TPB, and I finally was able to sit down and return the favour.  This was a fun piece for me, as I'm a HUGE fan of the book, and it was also nice to make something a little more quiet and romantic.  Seriously start picking up the series if you haven't already:

Ah, Brahm Revel.  If you have not treated yourself to Oni Press' GUERILLAS Vol1 you may, may need you head examined.  I was graciously invited (thanks Charlie!) to contribute a pin-up to Vol2.  Not sure on release date, but, man, this was a fun sandbox to play in for a couple days.

Tod Browning's FREAKS commission...

Whew,  I've been busy,  my new project at Oni Press is keeping me on my toes.  Babies, it is tip-top, should be more news on that in the coming months.  This FREAKS commission was done for Mr Bret Boyer of Arcane Comics in Seattle.   I think I'll open up a shop here soon, really need a place to sell off some pages and pin-ups (I'm sitting on a mound of new ones that need to be uploaded)!
